The idea of making a club germinated  between  members of Criminal Investigation Department(CID) since the mid 90. At that time, in late 1996, as it were the club, no one dreamed, just occasionally, meet and put in practice some games. As such, there was no script ,games has been based upon actual operations carried out by the staff of the Tallinn prefectures, as well as the possible development of these operations, and actively explored the experience of warfare in urban environments of various special units of foreign states. It took some time, many CID members for various reasons have left, and as if all at some time stood still. And only in 2003, someone suggested to recall the old. 4 people have acquired “Tippmann” 98 and played. How was the game? In fact, wage war on , because all those gathered had some training as not only a theoretical plan, but also had practical experience. Next time, 9 people had already gathered. In the old 4-deck vessel were carried out search operations for the “detection” and “elimination” of intruders.
 Later on, every Sunday held similar events. In contrast to the sports  paintball, where each game lasts no more than 5 minutes, our games are held from 1 to 6 hours, depending on the number and the tactical skill of the players, the topography and the script. According to, as in the games start to take part an increasing number of participants, developed new scenarios, and now are currently 9.
In 2005, we officially registered as a military sports club, called RGD-5. Currently, active participants in our events is about 60 people. This is not a closed organization. Accept all those, who committed to our direction (tactical paintball). It does not matter whether you are special forces soldier, or you just a student or worker, director of the company or a military man does not matter. The only restriction on the game- people should come  sober and especially not to drink alcohol the day of activities. Nobody is asking ,who this man is, what he is doing, and his past, the main thing everyone should remember, the degree of slope does not affect the flight path of the bullet (the strength of Your will does not affect the flying trajectory of the bullet in any conceivable way).This aphorism is like our motto, which is available on our website www.rgd5.com.
When they say that paintball promotes aggression and war advocates - do not believe it. Only in this game, as in any other, you realize- how little human life is at war, sometimes the price of this life, one random shot, one wrong move. And only after hours of wrangling realize the true value of a clean bed, hot shower and just human communication…
In 2005, we became more than 100 people. These are those for whom the activities of the club has become a way of life. These are people for whom every Sunday, regardless of the season, despite the snow or rain, it was celebration of life. Celebration- on which there is no place for alcohol, but where the sweat pours down and the dirt crumbles from the clothes. Where sounds a dull explosions of a «missiles» and eyes dimmed shroud smokescreen. And at the end of the day the body aches with fatigue and requires hot tea and a clean bed.
